Digital Transformation Flagship Measures


In recent years, the country has been introducing actions and initiatives aimed at the digital modernization of horizontal interventions and the development of integrated public services. The new "National Interoperability Framework" has been created, accompanied by an integrated Governance Model that ensures its sustainability through the active participation of the public and private sectors, while an Implementation Guide supports the design, implementation and evaluation of the flagship ICT actions. At the same time, actions are being implemented to improve "Digital Accessibility" in Public Administration organizations, with emphasis on ensuring accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices. Significant resources of the Operational Program "Digital Transformation" 2021-2027 are available to support the above actions. Another key action is the "Central and Unified Fiscal Policy System (Government ERP)", which modernizes the financial and fiscal management system of the State through the redesign of processes and the modelling of new business processes, to meet the needs of the Central Administration and the General Government. In the field of geospatial services, the digitization of the records of the mortgage offices of the Hellenic Land Registry has been launched, an initiative that will contribute to improving the service to citizens through the development of a digital file for the transfer of real estate, a remote legal control platform and electronic service. In addition, the digital services of the Hellenic Cadastre are being enriched with the creation of a digital map of individual cadastre, digital title research, integration of AI chatbot for citizen service, as well as the development of a digital lien keeping system and a digital map for the detection of illegal construction.
