Drones (Unmanned Vehicles)


Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAVs) are also included in the framework of Law 4961/2022, with regulations for their safe and controlled use. Policies are being implemented to integrate them into areas of public interest, such as civil protection, environmental monitoring and healthcare. Actions focus on developing a regulatory framework, safeguarding security and privacy and strengthening research and investment. At the same time, public-private cooperation is being promoted for drone applications in transport, agriculture and energy.
