-Foreign Policy-

One of the key reforms in the sector is the abolition of the former Central Translation Service, replacing it with an electronic directory of certified translators. Each citizen can choose the appropriate translator directly and be served more quickly. At the same time, as part of the preparatory actions for the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS), the "ETIAS National Unit" was established at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This initiative, part of the wider Smart Borders Programme, aims to modernize the control and travel authorization procedures, enhancing the security and attractiveness of the EU for businesses and tourists. In addition, the "myConsulLive" platform provides a digital service with appointments at 94 Embassies and Consulates in 72 countries, where acts such as family status certificates, civil status certificates, residence certificates and applications are processed via video call. These actions have been shaped by the Digital Transformation Paper, ensuring faster, transparent, and secure services.
