As part of the digital transformation of the agricultural sector, the easyagroexpo.gov.gr platform was launched in 2021, serving as a digital “passport” for the export of Greek agricultural products to key international markets such as the USA, Australia, Japan, and Canada. Through gov.gr, businesses can now submit 120 distinct export certificate applications electronically for 30 countries. Additionally the creation of service that enables farmers to receive digital support from OPEKEPE via video conferencing with any of the 450 certified CAP Support Centers (KYD), without the need for physical presence. Furthermore, procedures were simplified for the establishment and operation of intensive and semi-intensive aquaculture units, livestock facilities, veterinary activities, and the breeding, reproduction, and trade of companion animals. These initiatives enhance accessibility, efficiency, and transparency across the agri-food sector.
